Postdoctoral Psychological Associates have already completed their doctoral degrees in psychology. Their positions are approved by the California Board of Psychology (BOP), and they accrue hours of supervised professional experience (SPE) needed to become licensed as a psychologist.
Postdoctoral Psychological Associates meet with their primary supervisor for at least 1 hour per week, and receive supervision for at least 10% of all hours worked each week. Postdoctoral psychological associates also have the opportunity to be involved with psychological assessments and to provide peer supervision and consultation to our practicum students. Postdoctoral psychological associates also have the option to be involved with administrative activities that provide additional learning related to running a private practice.
These are paid positions.
Our Postdoctoral Psychological Associates are hourly employees earning at least minimum wage for all hours worked.
